Our Fees

At Tusk Financial Planning, we vow to always be transparent with the fees for our services.  Our fees can be broken down into two distinct categories, based on how you utilize our services:

  1. Financial Planning
  2. Wealth & Investment Management

We will always be firm believers in creating financial plans for our clients, and we do not have to manage your investments if you prefer to do that yourself.

However, we will not manage your investments without building a financial plan.  We do not believe we can be effective managing investments without knowing what goal they serve (retirement, home down payment, college education, etc.), how long they will be invested, how much risk they should be exposed to, and what tax structure they should adhere to (income tax vs. capital gains).

That being said, here is a breakdown of our fee structure:

Financial Planning Only:

Wealth Management (includes Financial Planning):

Client Centered

Wealth management fees are prorated and based on Assets Under Management (AUM), which are personally managed by us or by a third party.

The benefits of wealth management include consistent reallocation and proper diversification of your accounts to meet your goals and risk tolerance.  These accounts typically have higher expenses than a non-managed account.

However, multiple accounts within a client family are linked together for reduced fees.  Please give us a call with any questions regarding wealth management fees!

“There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.”
